Steel Suffer Overtime Loss To Youngstown

BENSENVILLE, Ill. - Youngstown's Kyle Connor scored the game winning goal in overtime as the Phantoms defeated the Chicago Steel 2-1 on Sunday at The Edge Ice Arena.
Connor's overtime winner came just 27 seconds into the extra period as the Steel move to 24-19-4 on the season.
Chicago grabbed the lead at the 3:08 mark in the first period on CJ Smith's goal, but couldn't find the back of the net the rest of the afternoon as Conor Lemirande tied the game 1-all with one minute, 31 seconds left in the first stanza.
Chris Nell made 29 saves in net for Chicago, while teammates Victor Bjorkung and Brendon Kearney added the assists on Smith's score.
