Cougars Kick-Off Home Game Weekend with Heritage Night

Prince George, B.C. - Prince George Cougars fans have something special to look forward to this coming weekend after the team returns from a week-long, four-game, road trip through BC and Washington. On Friday and Saturday February 21st and 22nd, the Cougars meet their rivals from Kelowna on ice at the CN Centre, for two exciting nights of hockey starting at 7pm.
In celebration of BC Heritage Week (February 17th-23rd), the Cougars will kick-off their weekend with The Rockets by featuring local heritage and multicultural groups with displays on the CN Centre concourse. Several local heritage groups will be in attendance enjoying the game. The Cougars wish to remind local organizations that discounted group ticket rates are available for the game. And for the heritage theme night, a special concession stand promotion is available so that fans can enjoy a pizza and medium pop combo for only $5.25!
Saturday, February 22nd will see a much anticipated re-match with The Rockets and will also feature the team's annual pre-game, on-ice ceremony honouring the parents and billet families of the Cougars. Saturday's game, sponsored by FortisBC, is also the Cougars annual "Girl Guide Night", with almost 200 guides and troop leaders joining the team for a memorable celebration of leadership and achievement.
