Demonz Too Much for Danville

(Dayton, Ohio) The Dayton Demonz and Danville Dashers are two teams going in different directions. For most of the year the Demonz have held on to 2nd place in the Federal Hockey League (FHL), while the Dashers have held on to 4th place in the FHL. Tonight's match-up between the two teams would be another trouncing by Dayton, with the Demonz defeating the Dashers 8-2. With tonight's win, the Demonz continue to push the first place Danbury Whalers for 1st place in the league.

The 1st period would be a restively evenly played period with the first 20 minutes ending with the Demonz holding onto a 2-1. Goal scorers for Dayton were Roger Tagoona and Jesse Felten. Jamie Zaleski got the lone goal for the Dashers in the period.

The 2nd period saw the Demonz blow away from the Dashers as the Demonz would score 3 goals to the Dashers 1 goal in the period to take a commanding 5-2 lead. Goal scorers for Dayton in the middle frame were newly acquired Dustin Skinner, Robert Vanwynsberghe, and Wehebe Darge. Danville's Marc Thompson added one for the Dashers.

The final period was all Dayton as they scored 3 unanswered goals, led by Tagoona's shorty, (and 2nd of the game), Dagre's 2nd of the game, and Skinner's second tally. All 3 players received stars of the game.
