Rebels Get 3 Goals from Feser; Win 3-2 in Edmonton

EDMONTON, AB - The Red Deer Rebels ended their 7-game losing streak with a 3-2 overtime win in Edmonton.

Patrik Bartosak made 50 saves and Scott Feser scored all 3 Rebels goals.

The game was tied 1-1 after the first period, Dysin Mayo scored for Edmonton.

The Oil Kings had the only goal in the second period when Edgars Kulda gave Edmonton a 2-1 lead after two periods.

For only the second time this season, the Rebels came back for a win after trailing after two periods. Feser's second of the night tied it at 2, at the 5:35 mark of the period.

In overtime, Feser and Conner Bleackley worked a 2 on 1 with Feser tapping in the winner.

Patrik Bartosak was stellar in goal, making 50 saves. The Rebels were 0 for 3 on the power play and killed all 5 shorthanded situations. The final shots were 52-23 for Edmonton.

The Rebels host the Saskatoon Blades Saturday for a 7:00PM game, the broadcast on 106.7 The Drive begins at 6:30.
