Buffalo Bandits News Release

BUFFALO, NY (February 13, 2014) --- The Buffalo Bandits today announced that the team will be hosting "Tucker Out Lymphoma Night" on April 5th when the Calgary Roughnecks visit First Niagara Center. In support of Tucker Williams' fight against Lymphoma, multiple events and fundraisers will be featured throughout the evening.

During the game, Bandits players will be wearing special jerseys to be auctioned off in two ways. First-half jerseys can be bid on prior to the game via Bandits.com, with the winners having the ability to get the jersey stitched with the name of someone who has been afflicted by Lymphoma. Second-half jerseys will be made available for auction on Bandits.com as well, with the winner being the highest bidder. A separate in-arena jersey and sports memorabilia auction is also scheduled to take place.

In addition to selling "Braver than Brave" t-shirts, orange "Braver than Brave" hats will be autographed by individual Bandits players and sold throughout the arena.

Following the game, the team will host a Bald for Bucks event, in which each of the top 20 fundraisers will have the option to get their head shaved by a Bandits player (more details to follow). Proceeds from this specific event will benefit Roswell Park and be earmarked for the organization's new Pediatric Unit.
