Fargo Force Trade Forward John Baiocco

FARGO, ND-Forward John Baiocco has been traded to the Dubuque Fighting Saints in exchange for a 4th round and a 7th round pick in Phase II of the 2014 USHL Draft.

Baiocco was in his first year with the Force and in the USHL this season. In 37 games so far this year, he posted 22 points with 9 goals and 13 assists, leading the team in scoring. He is committed to Yale University.

Other moves recently made by the Force coaching staff prior to the trade deadline include:

-Trading forward Jack Rowe to the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for a conditional 3rd round pick and a conditional 7th round pick, both in Phase 2 of the 2014 USHL Draft

-Adding forward Cam Ashley from the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (NAHL). In 27 games so far this season with the Bees, Ashley had 4 points with 1 goal and 3 assists and amassed 111 penalty minutes. He will wear jersey #14.

-Claiming forward Tyler Hynes off of waivers from the Omaha Lancers. Hynes was an Assistant Captain with the Lancers and played in 36 games so far this season posting 16 points with 8 goals and 8 assists. He is committed to Union College and will wear jersey #6.

The Fargo Force are on the road this weekend to face Lincoln Friday night at 7:05 PM and Des Moines on Saturday at 7:05 PM.

The team returns home next weekend on Saturday, Feb. 15 for Purple-N-Pucks where there will be a live jersey auction of the players' custom purple jerseys following the game with all proceeds benefitting embrace, Sanford Health's Cancer Survivorship Program.
