Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Attack is hitting the road this Friday night as they travel down to London to take on their divisional rival London Knights at the Budweiser Gardens. The boys roll into town coming off 2 big wins; 2-1 versus Erie last Saturday and Wednesday night's 5-1 tromping of the Barrie Colts. Owen Sound sits only 3 points back of Saginaw for 6th place in the West with a game in hand, whereas their opponents from London are sitting tight in 4th place in the West with 73 points and a guaranteed playoff spot this year.

Friday night will be the 3rd meeting of the season between the two bitter rivals with London leading the season series 2-0. London has outscored the Attack 10-4 in those two games, both being played at the Lum. The Attack look to keep the away win theme going when the boys hit the ice Friday night at the Bud in front of what should be a sold out crowd.

Jaden Lindo (Upper Body) is questionable for the game, while Gilbert Gabor will be serving another game off of his 10 game ban. Holden Cook will look to extend his point streak hit 6 games in this tilt as he has 3 goals and 6 assists in his last 5 games. Kyle Hope will also look to continue his solid play as he is coming of a 2 goals, 1 assist and 1 fight game against Barrie.

The London Knights are on a 5 game winning streak, outscoring their opponents 31-12 in those games.
