West Texas Wildcatters Set Open Tryout

February 6, 2014 - Lone Star Football League (LSFL) - West Texas Wildcatters News Release


Odessa - The West Texas Wildcatters will be holding an open tryout on Saturday, February 15 at Midland Memorial Stadium. Registration will begin at 12 pm, with the tryout itself beginning at 1. The tryout is open to anyone ages 18 and up. Tryout participants can preregister prior to the 15th for $50 at wtxwildcattersfootball.com/player-registration.html, and the fee is $60 on the day of the event (cash or cashier's check only).

The Wildcatters ( www.wtxwildcattersfootball.com) begin play this spring, and will be members of the Lone Star Football League (www.texaslsfl.com). The Wildcatters will play a 12-game schedule with six home dates in their inaugural season. Home games will be played in the Ector County Coliseum, with a seating capacity of 5,206 (www.ectorcountycoliseum.org). Training camp for the 2014 season will begin March 1, and the season will run through June.

The West Texas Wildcatters' ownership group consists of West Texas born and raised businessmen. The Wildcatters look forward to bringing exciting, fast-paced and hard-hitting entertainment for the whole family back to West Texas on Saturday nights.
