January 7, 2014 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Arizona Sundogs News Release
Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs are partnering with the ZTA Foundation and the American Cancer Society to help raise money for cancer awareness. On February 1, 2014 the Sundogs will be wearing specialty designed jerseys to commemorative those individuals that have been affected by cancer. The jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the Sundogs game against the Rapid City Rush and a portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to ZTA Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
The Sundogs are going one step further and inviting fans to paint their loved ones name(s) on the ice that have battled with cancer or are still fighting. On January 30, 2014 join the Sundogs at Tim's Toyota Center from 1:00pm - 8:00pm and honor your loved ones by writing their name on the ice. Many Sundogs players will be on hand from 1:00pm - 2:00pm as they also remember their friends and families that have been affected. Individuals interested in joining us please enter through the open skate doors located on the north side of the arena. All supplies will be provided and don't forget to dress warm.
No monetary payment or ticket is required for the opportunity to paint the ice with the team, though tickets will be available for purchase should you be interested in attending the Pink in the Rink game on February 1, 2014. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free giveaway courtesy of SimonMed.
For more information regarding the chance to paint the ice with your loved ones name or tickets please contact an account executive at (928) 759-6600.
