Jordan Tkatch Earns December Player of the Month Award

Prince George, BC - Cougars fans have chosen forward Jordan Tkatch as the Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths Player of the Month for December 2013.
The Player of the Month for December took full advantage of his added opportunity, and put forth the best month of his WHL career to date. In nine games, he scored six goals and added five assists. During December he had an eight game point streak, and three multi-point games .
Fans voted in an online poll at www.pgcougars.com, and Tkatch received 34 percent of the votes. Tkatch was recognized on the red carpet prior to Friday's match-up with Kamloops which the Cougars won 9-5.
Each month the Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths Player of the Month, as chosen by the Prince George Cougars fans, will receive a gift certificate for Shogun courtesy of Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths. At the end of the season fans will have the opportunity to vote for each of the five finalists to take the title as Player of the Month. The winner of that vote will receive a 14k hand-crafted gold ring courtesy of Darrell Hubbell, of Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths.
