Dallas Sidekicks News Release

WICHITA, KS - Dallas Sidekicks goaltender Dejan "Milo" Milosevic earned his first career shutout in the team's 6-0 win on the road in Wichita Saturday night. The shutout is just the seventh in the history of the PASL. Dallas is now 8-2 for the season so far with six regular season games to go.

Sidekicks midfielder Jamie Lovegrove got the first goal of the night 7:38 into the match, a breakaway shot over Wichita goaltender Jason Dewey assisted by Gabe Arrendondo. Shortly after, Nestor Hernandez blasted in a shot at 8:23. Dallas scored twice in the penalty-heavy second quarter, Ricardinho at 1:21 and Franck Mbemba at 13:48. Dallas failed to capitalize on two powerplays, but still went into halftime with a 4-0 lead.

Mark Withers added to the Sidekicks lead at 8:54 in the third quarter, scoring his first goal of the season. Lovegrove put Dallas up 6-0 just 38 seconds into the fourth quarter to cement the Sidekicks win. The rest of the match remained scoreless, a back-and-forth that saw impressive saves from both goalkeepers.

The majority of the Sidekicks' January will be spent on the road, taking on the Texas Strikers on January 11 and the Tulsa Revolution on January 18. The team will return to the Allen Event Center on Saturday, January 25 at 7:00 p.m. to face the Texas Strikers. Individual and season tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
