The Conference's four-team double-elimination postseason tournament will unfold from May 22-25, 2014 at Dodd Stadium. The 6,270-seat ballpark, which houses the Short-Season Class A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, also served as the backdrop for the 2011 and 2012 editions of the event.

"Dodd Stadium is a reasonable drive from a majority of baseball playing NEC institutions," said NEC Commissioner Noreen Morris. "It's a first-class facility and its professional support staff has proven it can provide a fantastic experience for our student-athletes."

The 2014 Northeast Conference Baseball Championship field will feature the top four finishers in the league standings at the conclusion of the conference's regular season schedule. The tournament champion will receive the NEC's automatic berth into the NCAA Championship Field of 64.
