 Saint John Sea Dogs

Win a New Car in Sea Dogs' Movember Challenge

November 26, 2013 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Saint John Sea Dogs News Release

SAINT JOHN - Saint John Sea Dogs' fans will have a chance to win a BRAND NEW CAR at Wednesday's game against the Charlottetown Islanders.

It's part of the Sea Dogs' MOvember Challenge, where the team would make an extra donation to the MOvember campaign based on the average attendance at seven home games during the month of November.

Fans will be asked to fill out ballots as they enter Harbour Station prior to the game. TWO fans will be selected at random from those ballots, and will be entered into a draw with four previous qualifiers. One of the six qualifiers will be selected to shoot for a chance to win a BRAND NEW Ford Fiesta, courtesy of Downey Ford, during the first intermission!

The Sea Dogs Foundation will also give away a select number of Wallace McCain Memorial Alumni Weekend golf shirts as extra 50/50 prizes.

Sea Dogs players are raising money for MOvember campaign through the team's MOvember web page:

Or, go to ca.movember.com and search "Saint John Sea Dogs."

Fans are encouraged to log on and donate to their favourite players, Fleaburn, or to the team itself.

Player photos have been updated this week to display progress in moustache growth.

If the Sea Dogs average 3,800 fans per game during the month of November, the club will donate $5,000 to the MOvember campaign! An average of 5,000 fans per game means a $15,000 donation! Any sell-out means an additional $10,000 donation!

Get tickets for all games TODAY at the Harbour Station box office, online at tickets.harbourstation.ca, or by calling 657-1234.
