Auger Named to QMJHL Roster for Subway Super Series

BOUCHERVILLE, PQ - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today Saint John Sea Dogs' goaltender Sebastien Auger named been named to Team QMJHL for the 2013 SUBWAY© Super Series next month.

Auger, 19, will be making his first appearance in the Series and was the only Sea Dog named to the 23-player roster.

Auger, a native of St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec, has played 14 games this season, posting a record of 3-9-0-2, with a 2.63 goals-against average and .926 save percentage.

The third-year Sea Dogs' netminder was the QMJHL's VAUGHN Goaltender of the Month and the TELUS second star for September.

The Gatineau Olympiques will host the first game of the SUBWAY© Super Series on Monday, November 18th at the Robert Guertin Centre, while the Sherbrooke Phoenix will host game two at the Palais des Sports Léopold-Drolet on Wednesday, November 20th.

Team Russia then heads west to play two games against Team OHL followed by two games against Team WHL.

All six contests will be televised nationwide on Sportsnet while TVA Sports will broadcast the two contests in QMJHL territory.
