(Central Islip, N.Y., Oct. 22, 2013) - The back-to-back Atlantic League champion Long Island Ducks today announced the launch of their official team blog, "Quack of the Bat." This brand new addition will provide a variety of exclusive content and fan interaction to bring fans closer to Long Island's hometown team.
"We are excited to offer a new way for our 'Faithful Flock' to keep track of all things Ducks related," says Ducks president and general manager Michael Pfaff. "This platform will also give them the unique opportunity to voice their opinions on topics discussed and interact with the team."

"Quack of the Bat" will feature a plethora of content including breaking news stories, feature articles, promotional information, multimedia content, game previews, in-game updates, contests, trivia and much more. It will also give fans the opportunity to connect directly with the team's social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube .
The Ducks Blog will also hear directly from followers, as "Quack of the Bat" will allow fans to comment on posts with their analysis and suggestions on a variety of topics. The re-launch of the always popular "Fowl Poll" has also returned on the blog, and fans will have the ability to vote on a number of questions throughout the Ducks' 15th Anniversary season and beyond.
