News Kivihalme Named to Roster for World Junior A Challenge

FARGO, ND-USA Hockey released today their 22-man roster for the World Junior A Challenge coming up Nov. 4-10 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Fargo Force defenseman Teemu Kivihalme was one of seven defensemen named to the team along with 13 forwards and two goaltenders.

The defenseman from Savage, MN has currently played in 4 games so far this season with the Force and is second place in scoring on the team with 3 points (0g, 3a). During the majority of the 2012-13 season last year, he played with Burnsville High School where he put up 31 points in 28 games played. He joined the Force at the end of the season for 4 games, notching 1 assist. The defenseman is committed to Colorado College and was drafted in the 2013 NHL Draft by the Nashville Predators.

Kivihalme will miss 4 games for Fargo on Nov. 1 & 2 at home versus Chicago and on the road in Youngstown on Nov. 8 & 9. He will return the week of Nov. 11.
