Lewis out Indefinitely

Halifax Mooseheads General Manager Cam Russell announced this afternoon that Captain Trey Lewis will be out of the lineup indefinitely with a labral tear in his hip.

The Aldouane, New Brunswick product has played 206 games for the Mooseheads over 4 seasons collecting 16 goals, 47 assists and 248 penalty minutes. Lewis, along with Stefan Fournier, co-captained the Mooseheads to their first Memorial Cup Championship last May in Saskatoon.

The Mooseheads next home game is tomorrow night when the Herd take on the number one-ranked CHL team in the Country, the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada at 7pm.
