Ticats Announce Major Partnerships for Tim Hortons Field

September 16, 2013 - Canadian Football League (CFL) Hamilton Tiger-Cats

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are proud to announce several major multi-year partnerships featuring significant entitlements at Tim Hortons Field, the future home of the Ticats set to open in 2014. The Ticats announced Founding Partnerships with Scotiabank, Molson Coors, Pioneer Energy, and Premier Partnerships with Seagram and Nissan.

"Tim Hortons Field will fundamentally change our ability to deliver value to our corporate partners and enhance the live experience for our fans. In addition to traditional high-value sponsorship assets and inventory, Tim Hortons Field will deliver unique experiences that focus on meaningful engagement between fans and partner brands," Tiger-Cats Senior Vice President, Stadium Development - Partnerships, Ticketing & Premium Seating, Matt Afinec commented.

Founding Partnership details include:

SCOTIABANK

Scotiabank will continue to be the Official Bank of the Tiger-Cats and Tim Hortons Field. Highlights of the partnership with the Ticats include entitlement of one of the entry gates at Tim Hortons Field as well as the Scotiabank Premier Suite Level and the Media Centre.

In conjunction with the Ticats, Scotiabank will provide a wide range of fan initiatives and community programs, including the Scotiabank Game Changer program, which honours dedicated citizens for 'changing the game' in their local communities and recognizes the commitment and passion it takes to effect positive change.

MOLSON COORS

As the Official Beer Partner of the Tiger-Cats, Molson Coors has secured pouring rights for all Ticats games and events at Tim Hortons Field.

The Coors Light Patio, located in the north endzone of Tim Hortons Field, will provide the ultimate social experience with Canada's largest outdoor patio party with over 10,000 square feet of excitement on two levels spanning the width of the endzone.

"We look forward to continuing our relationship with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. We are thrilled to be a part of the opening of Tim Hortons Field, where the Coors Light Patio will be one of the most entertaining places to view the action on the field," said Chris Bell, National Sponsorship Operations at Molson Coors Canada.

PIONEER ENERGY

The Official Fuel and Convenience Store Partner of the Tiger-Cats and Tim Hortons Field, Pioneer Energy, will receive entitlement of the South-East Entry Gate which will provide VIP Access to all Pioneer Bonus Bucks Card Holders.

The Pioneer Energy Endzone, located at the south end of the stadium, will definitely be one of the most entertaining go-to spots for fans to meet their friends and watch all the action in a fun and social atmosphere.

"Pioneer Energy has been associated with the Ticats for many years and this partnership takes our involvement to a new and very exciting level. This creates multiple opportunities for Pioneer to interact with fans such as the 'Pioneer Energy Endzone' while providing exclusive benefits to our loyal customers, said Anthony Di Maulo, Pioneer Energy VP Marketing, Merchandising and Loyalty.

SEAGRAM

Seagram has secured pouring rights for all Tiger-Cats games and events at Tim Hortons Field in the Ready To Drink Vodka beverage category, as well as Ready to Drink Caesars.

They will also sponsor the Seagram Touchdown Lounge, a unique hospitality area featuring a series of sectional couches with uninterrupted views to the field from the south endzone. Guests will have access to a private lounge area and in-seat service with a dedicated hostess providing casual stadium food and beverage amenities.

"We began our partnership with the Tiger-Cats for the 2013 season with our family of Seagram products and we couldn't be happier to extend our partnership with the club into Tim Hortons Field," said Nick Relph, Brick Brewing VP Sales and Marketing. "the Seagram Touchdown Lounge will be a destination for Tiger-Cats fans to enjoy a unique experience at beautiful Tim Hortons Field in 2014."

NISSAN

Nissan has extended its partnership with the club, as the Official Automotive Manufacturer and Retailer of the Tiger-Cats and Tim Hortons Field.

Nissan will receive entitlement to one of the themed Club Lounges on the Club Level of Tim Hortons Field. The Club Level experience will feature 1,000 balcony seats, each delivering a 22" wide seat and the best views to the field of play. Tim Hortons Field Club Level memberships will provide members with a comfortable and climate controlled area with premium amenities, allowing members to casually socialize while enjoying the excitement of the game.
