Players to Attend NHL Training Camps

Several Peterborough Petes players will be departing for different cities in North America for National Hockey League training camps this week.

The following players will be attending camps:

Connor Boland, D - Buffalo Sabres Rookie Camp

Greg Betzold, LW - St. Louis Blues Rookie Camp

Stephen Pierog, C - Carolina Hurricanes Rookie Camp

Clark Seymour, D - Pittsburgh Penguins Rookie Camp

Michael Clarke, C - Colarado Avalanche Camp

Matej Paulovic, RW - Dallas Stars Rookie Camp

Derek Mathers, RW - Philadelphia Flyers Rookie Camp

**Mathers signed an entry level contract with Philadelphia in 2012

"We have a number of guys leaving for camps who have worked hard for their opportunities," commented Petes Head Coach Jody Hull. "They know they must continue to work hard in order to pursue careers in professional hockey. We look forward to seeing them when they return to Peterborough either as alumni or as active members of our roster."

The Peterborough Petes also announced over the week-end that four more players have been reassigned. Goalie Scott Smith, and forwards Brooker Muir, Devin Shell, and Riley Hennigar have all been reassigned upon the conclusion of 2013 training camp.
