MudZilla Mud Race Laredo Announced

Laredo, TX - The Laredo Lemurs and Uni-Trade Stadium are pleased to announce that Uni-Trade Stadium will play host to the 1st Annual MudZilla Mud Run to take place on Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th on the stadium grounds located immediately adjacent to the VIP Parking Area. The main course of MudZilla will feature over 34 challenging obstacles including several Mud Trench Runs, Barb Wire Crawls, Wall Climbs, Long Hill Slides and the "Iced Sea," which is a 30-foot trench filled with ice water which will require the mudder to fully submerse on three occasions. The cost for ages 12 & up is $65 for early bird registration which closes September 6th at 5 PM. To register, go to www.mudzillalaredo.com or call 956 7LEMURS. Everyone who participates receives a MudZilla Event T-Shirt. For participants ages 21 and over, they also receive a complimentary beer.

There will also be a Mini-Mudder course for competition for ages 5-11. The cost for the Mini Mudder has an early bird price of $20.00 per child. All children participants receive a MudZilla Event T-Shirt.

Teams are encouraged to sign up and participate together as part of the team competition. In addition to the competition, live music will be played throughout the day. Numerous food and beverage vendors will be setup along the sides of the race course for those who want to partake in local food and drink. The event is FREE for spectators.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Laredo charities.
