Community Food Bank Night at the Tucson Padres Game August 26th

Tucson: Monday, August 26, 2013 will be Community Food Bank night at the Tucson Padres baseball game at Kino Stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way. Gates open at 6:00 PM and the game against the Reno Aces begins at 7:05 PM.

Each person who brings two (2) cans of food, as a donation for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, will be admitted free. Food Bank donation boxes will be located at each entrance. Remember, most needed items are canned meats, canned vegetables, canned soups, canned fruit and canned tomato products. Please, no glass containers.

"The Tucson Padres, over our three years here, are pleased to have helped numerous Tucson charities," said Mike Feder, Vice President & General Manger. "Now in our last week of the season, we would like to reach out and help a great organization, the Community Food Bank. Please join us on Monday and donate to help families in need in our community."

Founded in 1976, the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona provides food for people in need, advocacy and nutrition education throughout Southern Arizona including Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima and Santa Cruz Counties. The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is a member of Feeding America.
