Saints Hosting Sendoff Party Tomorrow

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Dubuque Fighting Saints will be hosting a Russia Sendoff event on Saturday, August 17 at the Mystique Community Ice Center in preparation for the team's trip to the 2013 Junior Club World Cup in Omsk, Russia. The event will feature an open practice and a controlled scrimmage on the ice, and fans can meet the players in a post-practice autograph session. The event will also feature a Fighting Saints merchandise clearance sale.
The merchandise clearance sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Fighting Saints apparel and novelty items on sale. A wide variety of select items will be 25-75% off.
The team will take the ice at 11 a.m. for a practice and controlled scrimmage, which will last around two hours. Following the practice, players will be available to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
The Fighting Saints trip to Russia for the Junior Club World Cup is sponsored by American Trust, Mark and Cheryl Falb, and Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen.
