Fiesta Mexicana de Beisbol de los Dos Nogales

The Tucson Padres are expanding their Mexican Baseball Fiestas and will hold the first Fiesta Mexicana de Beisbol de los Dos Nogales Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22, with games scheduled for both Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora, Mexico on those dates.

The tournament will include Naranjeros de Hermosillo, Yaquis de Obregon, Caneros de Los Mochis and Mayos de Navojoa. The Tucson Padres announced the event today at Hotel Fray Marcos de Niza in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico in conjunction with the cities of Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora. Ramon Guzman, the Mayor of Nogales, Sonora and Arturo Garino, the Mayor of Nogales, Arizona were both at the press conference.

Games will be played at Memorial Park in Nogales, Arizona and Estadio Alberto Hoeffer in Nogales, Sonora.

Friday, September 20 - 7:30 pm: Obregon vs. Hermosillo in Nogales, Sonora

Friday, September 20 - 7:30 pm: Los Mochis vs. Navojoa in Nogales, Arizona

Saturday, September 21 - 7:00 pm: Obregon vs. Hermosillo in Nogales, Arizona

Saturday, September 21 - 7:00 pm: Los Mochis vs. Navojoa in Nogales, Sonora

Sunday, September 22 - 4:00 pm: Hermosillo vs. Los Mochis in Nogales, Arizona

Sunday, September 22 - 4:00 pm: Obregon vs. Navojoa in Nogales, Sonora

Tickets will be available at the Nogales, Arizona Chamber of Commerce, Hotel Fray Marcos de Niza and other outlets in Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora on August 1. Ticket prices will be released at a later date.
