BayBears Among 15th Annual SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game Selections

MOBILE, AL - Rosters for the 15th annual SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game were announced today by Major League Baseball. The announcement revealed that two current Mobile BayBears, starting pitcher Archie Bradley and Manager Andy Green, and former BayBears third baseman Matt Davidson will be representing the US team.

Bradley, a 20-year-old right-hander, has made 10 starts with Mobile, going 5-3 with a 2.29 ERA. Prior to joining the BayBears, the Muskogee, Oklahoma native was with the Visalia Rawhide of the California League. In 15 total starts in 2013, he has compiled a 7-3 record with a 1.95 ERA, striking out 103 in just 87.2 innings of work. Bradley was a two-sport standout at Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and turned down a scholarship to play Quarterback at Oklahoma University in order to sign with the Arizona Diamondbacks who selected him seventh overall in the 2011 First Year Player Draft. He is the Diamondbacks No. 2 prospect and the No. 23 prospect in all of baseball according to MLB.com.

Matt Davidson has spent the entire 2013 season with the AAA Reno Aces, hitting .301 with 10 home runs, 21 doubles and 46 RBI through his first 74 games in the Pacific Coast League. A member of the 2012 Southern League Champion Mobile BayBears, the 22-year-old hit .261 with 23 home runs, 28 doubles and 76 RBI a season ago. The Yucaipa, California native was taken 35th overall by the Diamondbacks in the 2009 First Year Player draft, and is currently ranked as the organization's No. 3 prospect.

BayBears Manager Andy Green is in his first year with Mobile, but has already guided the BayBears to the postseason by winning the 2013 Southern League South Division first-half Championship. The Lexington, KY native spent parts of four years in the Major Leagues with the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets. Just 35-years-old, Green spent 2012 as the Manager of the Missoula Osprey where he led the team to the Pioneer League Championship. He will join a number of current Minor League managers and coaches on the U.S. field staff that will be led by former New York Met Mookie Wilson.

The 15th annual SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game will takes place at 1:00 p.m. CT on All-Star Sunday, July 14, at Citi Field in New York and can be seen live on MLB.com, ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD and followed live on MLB.com's Gameday. In addition, XM Radio will broadcast play-by-play coverage of the event live on MLB Network Radio XM 89. MLB.com will also provide complete coverage before, during and after the game.
