Broncos Announce Regular Season Schedle

Swift Current, SK - The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club is proud to announce their 2013-14 regular season schedule. The Broncos will kick off the 2013-14 season with a home-and-home against the Regina Pats beginning at the Brandt Centre on Thursday, September 19th. The Broncos Home Opener is slated for Saturday, September 21st.

The 2013-14 WHL format has the Broncos facing East Division teams a total of eight times (four at home, four on the road), with the exception of the Regina Pats who they only play six times (three at home, three on the road). The club faces the remaining Eastern Conference teams a total of four times (two at home, two on the road). Swift Current plays each team in the Western Conference once. This year the club will host the five B.C. Division teams and will embark on their US road swing from October 16th through to October 22nd.

The Broncos will wrap up their 2013-14 season with a home-and-home series against the Moose Jaw Warriors starting on Friday, March 14th at the Credit Union iPlex for the annual Fan Appreciation Night, and then finishing off at Mosaic Place on Saturday, March 15th.

The Broncos will continue with their 7:05PM start times, except for two games which will start at 2PM (Remembrance Day - Monday, November 11th vs. Moose Jaw and Family Day - Monday, February 17th vs. Prince Albert).

BREAKDOWN BY THE NUMBERS:

22 - The total amount of weekend home games (9 on Friday, 11 on Saturday & 2 on Sunday)

14 - The total number of weekday home games (2 on Monday, 4 on Tuesday, 7 on Wednesday & 1 on Thursday).

4 - The longest home stand of the season which occurs from October 2nd - October 9th.
