Today's Game: The RedHawks and Storm Chasers meet for a Sunday doubleheader of two seven-inning games starting at 3:30 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Today begins a grueling stretch of three doubleheaders scheduled over the next six days.

Last Game: Jake Elmore had four hits, including a two-run homer, and four RBI to lead the RedHawks in an 11-2 win Saturday against the Storm Chasers in front of a sellout crowd at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The RedHawks rapped out 17 hits and set season highs with nine extra-base hits and seven doubles. Jimmy Paredes notched three doubles and Jon Singleton hit his first Triple-A home run, as the RedHawks jumped out to an 11-0 lead through seven innings. RBI singles from Omaha's Johnny Giavotella and Xavier Nady in the eighth inning ended the shutout. RedHawks starting pitcher Brett Oberholtzer (5-6) threw a season-high 7.2 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits with four strikeouts and one walk.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Brad Peacock looks to continue his recent success when he gets the nod in game one...He made his longest start of the season Tuesday against New Orleans, throwing 6.1 scoreless innings. He scattered six singles and held the Zephyrs to 0-for-11 with runners on base in the 3-1 victory...Since returning to Oklahoma City June 12, Peacock has made two starts and allowed just one run and eight hits over 12.1 innings (.186 BAA)...Peacock has split time this season between the RedHawks and the Astros. In six starts with OKC, Peacock is holding PCL opponents to a .208 average and has struck out 36 batters in 34 innings. He has allowed one or no earned runs in three of his last four starts and given up two or less earned runs in four of his last five outings with OKC...While with Sacramento in 2012, Peacock picked up a win in his only previous career meeting with Omaha, allowing four runs on five hits in six innings, with all runs scoring in the second inning. He struck out five and issued just one walk.

New addition Brady Rodgers is slated to start game two...Today marks Rodgers' Triple-A debut as he joins the RedHawks from the High-A Lancaster JetHawks, where he has made 17 total appearances and nine starts while pitching in a tandem rotation...Overall Rodgers is 5-4 with one save and a 5.26 ERA. He's gone through a recent rough patch, picking up losses in each of his last three outings while allowing 17 runs and 17 hits over 7.1 innings. Prior to that, Rodgers was 5-1 with a 3.28 ERA...He played in the California League-Carolina League All-Star Game on Tuesday in San Jose and pitched a 1-2-3 sixth inning with one strikeout...Rodgers is a control specialist who owns a 4-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio over his brief career...He was taken in the third round in last year's draft (96th overall) out of Arizona State University.

Against the Storm Chasers: 2013: 4-2 2012: 6-10 All-time: 114-100 In OKC: 58-49

In their last series, Omaha took two of three games at Werner Park earlier this month. The third meeting of the four-game series was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the first inning and will be resumed July 23...The RedHawks won both games of a weather-shortened two-game series in Oklahoma City in May by a combined score of 13-3 and clinched a winning home series against Omaha for the first time since June 26-29, 2010...During the 2012 season series, Omaha averaged 6.9 runs per game, but so far in 2013 they have scored a total of 16 runs (2.7 RPG) and are batting .176...The RedHawks lead the all-time series, 114-100, but Omaha entered 2013 having won four of the last five season series against Oklahoma City and three of four series in 2012.

Six Pack: This is the first six-game series the RedHawks have played in since Aug. 22-26, 2007 in Nashville. The RedHawks and Sounds split the set. However, that series was played over five days.

Double Dipping: Today is the first of three doubleheaders in the next six days for the RedHawks, including two in Bricktown (today and Tuesday) and a third Friday in Nashville. Oklahoma City is 3-5 in doubleheaders this season and split their one previous twinbill at home on April 18 vs. Round Rock. The RedHawks lost both games of their most recent doubleheader May 26 in Iowa.

Big Bats: The RedHawks set season highs with nine extra-base hits and seven doubles last night. Their 17 hits fell one shy of their season high, and the 11 runs tied their highest output in a game at home this year (3x; last vs. New Orleans, 4/27). It was also the sixth time all nine players in the lineup hit safely, last achieved in Albuquerque on June 1.

Elmore, More, More: Yesterday Jake Elmore recorded his team-leading third game at least four hits. He also had four RBI -- his highest RBI total since Aug. 10, 2012 while playing for Reno against Albuquerque. Since his season average dipped to .276 on June 12, Elmore is batting .421 (16x38) over his last 10 contests, notching six multi-hit games and raising his average to .298.

Booming Brett: Brett Wallace is batting .429 (21x49) during his current 12-game hitting streak. It's his longest hitting streak since a career-best 15-game streak with Memphis, June 15-July 1, 2009. Wallace leads the RedHawks with a .330 batting average (sixth in PCL), 11 home runs, 37 RBI, and 15 doubles.

Paredes Paradise: Jimmy Paredes is 5-for-8 with four doubles since rejoining the RedHawks a couple of days ago. Last night he became the first RedHawk with three doubles in a game since Marwin Gonzalez on July 4, 2012 in New Orleans. In 32 games with OKC, Paredes is batting .383 with 15 multi-hit games.

Starting Line: Over the last five games, RedHawks starting pitchers have allowed just five runs (four earned) and 26 hits with 30 strikeouts and five walks over 33.0 IP (1.09 ERA). In the last 10 games, OKC starting pitchers have allowed one or no runs five times, with seven quality starts. Over the last eight games, the starting rotation has a 1.98 ERA (10 ER/45.1 IP).
