Elmore hit two singles, a double and a two-run homer, as the RedHawks (39-34) opened a six-game home series with Omaha (32-42). Saturday marked Elmore's team-leading third game of the season with four or more hits.

Oklahoma City built an 11-0 lead through seven innings before Omaha scored two runs in the top of the eighth to break the shutout.

The RedHawks took a 2-0 lead in the second inning. A bunt single by Carlos Perez loaded the bases with none out. The next batter, Jose Martinez, singled to left field to score Elmore. Robbie Grossman then grounded into a double play and Jon Singleton scored for the 2-0 edge.

A RBI double by Elmore and a two-run homer to left field by Singleton, his first in Triple-A, put the RedHawks in front, 5-0, in the third inning.

Elmore added a two-run homer of his own to left field for a 7-0 lead in the fifth. His RBI single in the sixth put Oklahoma City in front 8-0. Oklahoma City went on to take a 9-0 lead before a two-RBI double from Paredes in the seventh inning.

RBI singles from Omaha's Johnny Giavotella and Xavier Nady in the eighth inning ended the shutout.
