Impact U21 Faces Haitian National Team Saturday at Stade Saputo

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact U21 faces the Haitian national team in an international friendly this Saturday at 7:30pm ET at Stade Saputo. The game is presented by the Haitian Community Sports Association (AUCHEM), in collaboration with the Montreal Impact and the Haitian Football Association, in preparation for Haiti's appearance in the Gold Cup tournament later this month.
Pre-sale tickets for the game at a cost of $15 are still available via the Admission Network ( b6fa6f26e1331d864d0ad7edd admission.com / 1-855-790-1245) prior to the game. Tickets may also be purchased at the Stade Saputo ticket office starting at 9am on game day at a cost of $20. Doors open for the event at 6pm.
"This will be an incredible experience for our U21 players, playing a game against a very skilled team that has just come off of two good performances against Italy and Spain," said Academy director Philippe Eullaffroy, who will be at the helm of the U21s, while head coach Wilfried Nancy is in Denver, Colorado for a coaching seminar. "We hope to provide them with a good opposition all while keeping our principles and identity on the pitch. This will be an extremely difficult game for us, but it is often in difficult moments in which we learn the most."
Impact midfielder Patrice Bernier will be on hand as part of the ceremonial kickoff.
Some notable members of the Haitian national team, which is ranked 59th in the FIFA World ranking, include: Johnny Placide (Stade de Reims -France), Judelin Aveska (Independiente Rivadavia - Argentina), as well Mechack Jerome and Peterson Joseph from Sporting Kansas City in MLS.
Impact U16 in Dallas
Meanwhile, the Impact U16 team will be playing three games in a developmental tournament from this Sunday, June 23 to Thursday, June 27, in Dallas as part of the United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) playoff showcase.
Upcoming MLS game
The club's first team will play its next game at home in MLS on Saturday, June 29 against the Colorado Rapids at 7pm (ET).
