Oklahoma City - The Round Rock Express scored four runs in the first inning and compiled a 10-run lead through three innings in a 12-2 win Monday against the Oklahoma City RedHawks in front of a crowd of 3,622 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Round Rock (40-32) won the four-game series between the teams, 3-1, as the RedHawks (36-32) dropped the final game of a series at home for the first time this season. Oklahoma City fell to 8-1 in series finales in downtown Oklahoma City.

Joey Butler went 4-for-6 for Round Rock, as all of the Express starters notched at least one hit. Leury Garcia had a game-high three RBI.

Marc Krauss and Jake Elmore each had two hits for the RedHawks.

The 12 runs allowed by the RedHawks Monday were the most given up at home this season and tied a season-high for runs allowed overall. Oklahoma City lost, 12-2, April 23 at Albuquerque.

Round Rock took a quick 4-0 lead in the first inning. With Yangervis Solarte batting, a wild pitch from RedHawks starting pitcher Brett Oberholtzer allowed Garcia to score the first run of the night. A double from Solarte scored Butler. Oberholtzer then issued four-straight walks to score two additional Express runs in the inning.

Alex Sogard replaced Oberholtzer on the mound for the RedHawks after 1/3 of an inning. Oberholtzer (4-6) allowed four runs on two hits and issued four walks in the loss.

The Express added six runs in the top of the third inning, including two on a triple by Engel Beltre, for a 10-0 lead. A RBI single from Jose Felix and RBI double from Garcia pushed the Express in front, 12-0, in the fourth inning.

Outfielder Fernando Martinez put the RedHawks on the board with a RBI groundout in the seventh. Infielder Jose Martinez hit a RBI single to left field for Oklahoma City's second run of the night in the bottom of the ninth.

Round Rock starting pitcher Martin Perez (5-1) got the win, holding the RedHawks scoreless through six innings, allowing three hits, walking one and striking out one.

Monday concluded an eight-game homestand for the RedHawks, who went 3-5 during the home stretch.

Oklahoma City returns to the road to play four games at New Orleans, starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Live coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on AM 1340 "The Game," 1340thegame.com, or through the free IHeartRadio mobile app.
