Potential Pairing for Fourth Round of 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Announced

CARY, NC - A day after advancing to the Third Round of the 100th Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup to host the LA Galaxy on Wednesday, May 29 at WakeMed Soccer Park, the RailHawks have learned the potential pairings for the Fourth Round of the cup competition. With a victory over the LA Galaxy, the RailHawks would host the winner of the Third Round match between Chivas USA of Major League Soccer and the LA Blues of the United Soccer Leagues (3rd Division) on Wednesday, June 12th at WakeMed Soccer Park.

In 2012, the RailHawks hosted the LA Galaxy in front of a soldout crowd at WakeMed Soccer Park. After defeating the Galaxy 2-1 in the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup, Chivas USA made the cross-country trip to WakeMed Soccer Park for the Fourth Round matchup. Chivas would break the hearts of the RailHawks fans with a stoppage time penalty kick advancing the Goats to the Quarterfinal Round with a 2-1 victory.

Individual tickets for the RailHawks Third Round U.S. Open Cup match versus the LA Galaxy will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 23 at 2:00pm. Season Ticket Holders will receive their season-long seats and can purchase additional tickets prior to the general public on sale date. Additionally, RailHawks Flex Plan Holders can purchase tickets for the match during the presale window.

Fans can now purchase the Galaxy 3-Pack that includes discounted tickets to not only the clash with the LA Galaxy, but also tickets to the June 29th match against the Atlanta Silverbacks including postgame fireworks, and the August 17th match against the New York Cosmos. Fans unable to attend the games scheduled later in the summer, can pick the Galaxy 3-Pack with vouchers, which includes tickets marked to the LA Galaxy game and vouchers for any other 2013 NASL Regular Season match. Galaxy 3-Pack pricing begins at $24.
