WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The top four players in the River Cats order reached base 11 times Sunday, but the Cats fell to the Oklahoma City RedHawks at Raley Field, 9-3.

After taking the middle two games of this four-game set from Oklahoma City, the River Cats committed three errors and managed just five hits in the series finale. For the second-straight game and fourth time this season, Sacramento did not record an extra-base hit, stranding nine base runners and going just 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position.

On the mound, southpaw Justin Thomas (2-3) suffered the defeat after allowing seven runs-four earned-in four-plus innings. Thomas struck out five and walked three in the losing effort.

Former River Cat Brad Peacock (1-1) started and earned the win for the RedHawks, striking out five, walking four and allowing just one earned run in five innings.

Jemile Weeks, Grant Green, Shane Peterson and Michael Choice all singled and combined to draw seven walks, but the rest of the order went a combined 1-for-17 with two free passes.

The River Cats open another four-game series at Raley Field Monday evening, when they play host to the New Orleans Zephyrs at 7:05 p.m. PT. Sacramento RHP Travis Banwart (2-1, 5.56 ERA) will face New Orleans RHP Matt Neil (0-0, No ERA) on a Throwback Monday presented by Cache Creek.
