GAME NOTES:
-TURNING POINT: The Clippers scored 3 runs on just one hit in the 6th inning to break open a 2-2 game. Martis walked 3 and fired 2 wild pitches in the inning as his 10.0-inning scoreless streak was snapped... KEY MOMENT: Brian Dinkelman's pinch-hit, 2-out, 2-run single in the 9th inning brought the winning run to plate but Nate Hanson lined out to short to end the game.
-With the win, the Clippers won 3 of 4 in the series and won the season series 5-3 over the Red Wings... For the Wings, it was their first series loss since dropping 3 of 4 to Scranton/WB April 15-18.
