Crotty and Schwartzman Named Warrior Players of the WeekMay 13, 2013 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL)
Crotty helped lead the Rochester Rattlers to their first win of the 2013 campaign, defeating the Charlotte Hounds 13-10 Saturday night, at American Legion Memorial Stadium. The attackman rifled in three goals, and dished out four helpers, to cap a seven point effort in the rematch from Week Two. In only his second game of the season, Crotty sits atop Rochester's leaderboard with 10 points. His five points-per-game is tied with Hamilton's Kevin Crowley for most points-per-game in the League this season. Schwartzman anchored the Denver Outlaws' defense, en route to a 14-10 decision over the Boston Cannons Saturday night. The 7th year Outlaw earned his third win of the season, highlighted by a fourth quarter shut-out in Harvard Stadium. Stopping 17 of 27 shots, Schwartzman amassed a .629 save percent average on the night. His 35 total saves sit second on the MLL goalie leaderboard, behind New York's Drew Adams.
