Chester, Pa. (May 13, 2013) - Philadelphia Union state-registered Pennsylvania license plates are now available for purchase, the club announced today. The Specialty Plates cost $50 each with proceeds benefitting the Philadelphia Union Foundation.
In the same appearance as a standard Pennsylvania plate with a backdrop of blue, yellow and white, the Philadelphia Union logo is located on the left side with the words "PHILADELPHIA UNION FOUNDATION" written across the yellow portion at the bottom. On the right side, "UF" is displayed to represent Union Foundation. No alphabetical letters will be permitted in the license plate number.
Drivers with a current Pennsylvania vehicle registration and driver's license are able to apply for purchase at www.philadelphiaunion.com/puf/license-plate, with plates shipped directly to the customer in 10-12 weeks after an order is submitted. In addition to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware state-registered Philadelphia Union license plates will soon be available.
The Philadelphia Union Foundation is a registered 501c3 in the vision of the Philadelphia Union. According to its mission statement, the Philadelphia Union Foundation "provides opportunities for children through the power of relationships to offer transformational change in the areas of education, community, health and recreation."
