
Whitaker Joins RockHounds from Stockton

Josh Whitaker will join the RockHounds on Saturday afternoon as they prepare for a doubleheader against the Missions in San Antonio. Whitaker was selected in the 25th round of the 2010 draft out of Kennesaw State University. The right handed outfielder was hitting .283 with 6 home runs and 28 RBI in 30 games this season. Whitaker is slated to make his debut in the second game of today's doubleheader after last night's game was rained out.
Michael Fabiaschi was placed on the disabled list. Early this week Jeremy Barfield was promoted to Triple-A Sacramento.
Brett Anderson is scheduled to make a Re-Hab start for the RockHounds on Sunday.
