ROCHESTER, NY... The Rochester Rhinos travel to Wilmington for a USL PRO regular season match with the Hammerheads on Friday, May 10 th at 7:30PM in Legion Stadium. The match can be seen live via streaming video on UNATION at www.uslnation.com .
Rochester Rhinos 2012 Most Valuable Player J.C. Banks will return to the team's 18 man roster for the first time this season in Wilmington. Last season Banks was a First Team All-USL PRO selection after he led the league in assists with eight. He added five goals to finish tied for fifth in USL PRO in points with 18. His season ended last August when he was diagnosed with a torn ACL. He had reconstructive surgery last September, and he was medically cleared to return to play earlier this week .
"J.C. was a key part of our attack last season, and his return comes at a crucial time in our season." Rhinos Head Coach Jesse Myers said. "To be fair to J.C., he's been out since last August so he's not match fit right now. He will be on the roster, and he is going to start to get minutes in league matches as he continues to recover from his injury."
