
CommunityAmerica Ballpark Hosting MIAA Baseball Championship this Weekend

KANSAS CITY, KS - The Kansas City T-Bones are pleased to announce that the MIAA Baseball Championship returns to CommunityAmerica Ballpark beginning today.
The double-elimination tournament features four teams: top-seed Missouri Western, No. 3 Missouri Southern, No. 4 Central Oklahoma and No. 7 Pittsburg State. Play began this morning at 11, with Missouri Western facing Central Oklahoma. Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State are scheduled to start at 2:30. The losing teams from those two games will face each other at 6 p.m.
Games will continue on Friday and Saturday. In Friday's semifinals, the winners from today's first two games will play at 11 a.m., with the afternoon game at 2:30. The championship game is scheduled to be played at 11 a.m. on Saturday. If necessary, a final elimination game will be played approximately 30 minutes after that contest.
Gates open one hour prior to the first game of the day. Tickets are $10 for adults per day and $5 for students with a valid I.D. Admission is free for kids 6 and under. More information can be found at www.themiaa.com.
