Minnesota Wild Recalls McMillan

Houston, TX - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Friday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Carson McMillan from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).
McMillan, 24 (9/10/88), recorded 18 points (9-918), 31 penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-4 rating in 64 games with Houston this season. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound native of Brandon, Man., led the Aeros and ranked tied for third in the AHL with three shorthanded goals. He skated in 51 games with the Aeros last season totaling 12 points (4-812) and 43 PIM. McMillan also appeared in 11 games with Minnesota recording three points (1-23). He scored a goal in his NHL debut with the Wild on April 3, 2011 at Detroit. McMillan has registered five points (2-35), a plus-2 rating and 11 PIM in 15 career contests with Minnesota.
He was originally selected by the Wild in the seventh-round (No. 200 overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. McMillan wears sweater No. 45 for Minnesota.
