Naturals to Host 2013 Texas League All-Star Gala

SPRINGDALE, AR - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are hosting the 2013 Texas League All-Star Gala to benefit the Arkansas Children's Hospital, in conjunction with the 2013 Texas League All-Star Game, presented by Castrol. The event will take place on Monday, June 24 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
"We are excited to be holding this prestigious event," said General Manager, Eric Edelstein. "It is a chance to show off Northwest Arkansas and help out a charity that helps so many children in the community."
The Gala will include a cocktail hour starting at 5:30 p.m., an All-Star Autograph session featuring members of both Texas League All-Star Teams and a Silent Auction including both Major League and Minor League Baseball memorabilia. At 7:00 p.m., the Naturals will invite guests to join them for a dinner buffet which includes complimentary beverage service including wine and beer.
The featured program of the night will begin at 7:30 p.m. with an address from George Brett. Brett, a 13-Time All-Star, former Kansas City Royal and member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, became the first player in history to accumulate 3,000 hits, 300 home runs, 600 doubles, 100 triples, 1,500 RBIs, and 200 stolen bases during his illustrious playing career.
The Gala is just one of the many events that will be held in Northwest Arkansas for the 2013 Texas League All-Star Game, presented by Castrol, which will be held at Arvest Ballpark on Tuesday, June 25, with gates opening at 3:00 p.m..
