Montreal Impact's Game on Saturday Moved to Sunday
April 12, 2013 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - Major League Soccer has moved the Montreal Impact vs. Columbus Crew match to Sunday, April 13 at 12:00 p.m. ET because of poor weather conditions in Quebec. The game will be broadcast live nationally in Canada on TSN2 and RDS2.
Snow began falling in Montreal Friday morning, with an accumulation of 15-25 centimeters, along with the possibility of precipitation, through Saturday afternoon.
This delay is due to an accumulation of snow on the field and in the stands. The main concern remains the safety of spectators and players alike. It became impossible to guarantee acceptable conditions and a safe environment for all in attendance.
All tickets for Saturday's game will be valid and honoured on Sunday, April 14, including season ticket holders.
If your tickets for the game on April 13 were purchased at the Montreal Impact ticket office or through Ticketmaster/Admission, and you require a refund, we ask that you reach out to your original point of contact as early as possible. All tickets for the April 13 game must be returned (with the tear off stub) before May 3, 2013.
Season tickets remain valid for the game and will be honoured on Sunday, April 14, 2013.
