Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Great Lakes Loons (affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers) in the first game of a four-game series and the Dragons home opener for 2013. The game will mark the 914th consecutive sell-out for the Dragons, the longest in sports history in North America.

Last Game: Dayton and South Bend were rained out on Wednesday. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on May 18 at South Bend.

Individual Notes

* Brent Peterson produced hits in his first six AB's of the season. He has hit safely in all three games he has appeared in, going 7 for 10, .700.

Team Notes

* There has not been a lead change in a Dragons game this season. In all six games, the winning team never trailed.

* Dragons relievers have allowed just one earned run in the last 10 innings over three games.

* Dragons starting pitchers have allowed one run or less in three of the six games this season.

* The Dragons have been shutout in back-to-back games for the first time since May 4-5, 2012. The Dragons have gone 20 straight innings without scoring (their last run came in the seventh inning on Sunday).

* Dragons pitchers have struck out 60 batters in 51.1 innings (most in the league following the last Dragons game on Tuesday) while Dragons batters have struck out only 40 times.
