Lookouts Split Doubleheader

Sunshine and lots of runs in game one of the double header Sunday for the Lookouts lead to a huge 7-0 win. Lookouts got the lead early for the third game in a row with a first inning tally. The Stars threatened in the third but left the bases loaded. In the bottom of the fourth the Lookouts sent ten to the plate and get big production from the offense with four hits and six runs. It was capped off by the three run home run off the bat of Joc Pederson, his first of the season. The 7-0 win was a good start on the day.

In game two, the Lookouts trailed after a two run top of the 1st by the Stars. Joc Pederson hit his second home run of the day to make it a one run game. Stars pitching took over and retired the next thirteen batters in a row and allowed just one more runner with a walk. Pitching held up for the Stars in the 3-1 win.
