Aaron Horton Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

COLUMBUS - The Columbus Crew today announced that forward Aaron Horton has undergone successful arthroscopic knee surgery to address a torn left lateral meniscus. Horton has begun rehabilitation and is expected to be out four to six weeks.
The procedure was performed by club physician Dr. Pete Edwards in Columbus.
Horton has made one career appearance since signing with the Black & Gold as the club's first Homegrown Player on May 17, 2011. Last season, Horton appeared in a friendly match against Barclays Premier League side Stoke City on July 24, scoring his first professional goal.
