LA Galaxy Midfielder Mike Magee Voted MLS Player of the Month

NEW YORK (Wednesday, April 3, 2013) - LA Galaxy midfielder Mike Magee was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Month by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for the month of March.
Magee started the 2013 season with a bang, scoring a hat trick in the Galaxy's home opener against the Chicago Fire on March 3rd, earning him Player of the Week honors.
The Galaxy midfielder continued to be a scoring threat as he converted a penalty in the Galaxy's 1-0 win over the Colorado Rapids on March 24th and then tallied the opening goal against Toronto FC in a 2-2 tie on March 30th.
Magee's standout performance this month landed him atop the 2013 Budweiser Golden Boot standings with five goals in four matches.
The Galaxy kick off April with a CONCACAF Champions League semifinal match against Monterrey tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET on FOX Soccer.
