Kings Trade Drewiske

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the primary affiliate of the Manchester Monarchs, have acquired a fifth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for defenseman Davis Drewiske, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Drewiske, 28, has played in 20 games with the Kings this season, recording four points (1-34), 14 penalty minutes and a plus-3 rating. The 6-2, 220-pound native of Hudson, Wisconsin has played in 126 career NHL games (all with the Kings), recording 22 points (4-1822) and 67 penalty minutes. Drewiske was originally signed by the Kings as a free agent on April 1, 2008.

Drewiske appeared in 66 games for the Monarchs between 2007-09 tallying a goal and 13 assists for 14 points and 101 penalty minutes.
