Revolution Announce 2013 Giveaway Schedule

(York, Pa.): It's a summer tradition as ingrained in York as a home run cannon blast: We're giving away free stuff!

The York Revolution has finalized the giveaway schedule for the 2013 season, which will begin on Opening Day (April 18, 6:30 p.m. vs. Bridgeport) with the 2013 magnet schedule giveaway presented by Pizza Hut. This year's schedule features a detachable Revolution logo car magnet, so when you're driving near and far your Atlantic League loyalties are never in question.

A day later is Soccer Night at the ballpark (April 19, 6:30 p.m. vs. Bridgeport), and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Revolution soccer ball presented by WellSpan Sports Medicine.

The first 1,500 fans through the gates on Friday, May 17 (6:30 p.m. vs. Lancaster) will receive a Revolution 3-D logo coin bank, presented by Members 1st Federal Credit Union, perfect for the "Rookie Rev" in your family to start learning about responsible saving! (To be spent on future Revolution tickets of course.)

Friday, May 31 (6:30 p.m. vs. Long Island) will feature one of the most unique giveaways in franchise history, on "Back To The Future Night." The Revs are giving the first 2,000 fans a "modern" 2013 York White Roses cap, featuring what we think our logo and cap would have looked like had the Revolution franchise been named after the York minor league clubs of yesteryear. The cap giveaway is presented by OSS Health.

Go Green Night returns on Saturday, June 22 (6:30 p.m. vs. Somerset), with a green tote bag and flying disc giveaway for the first 1,000 fans presented by the York County Solid Waste Authority.

Friday, July 5 (6:30 p.m. vs. Lancaster) will be the second cap giveaway of the season; the always popular Revolution camouflage cap presented by St. Onge, as part of BAE Systems Armed Forces Night at Sovereign Bank Stadium. The camo cap giveaway coincides with the game-worn Revolution camouflage jersey silent auction, presented by BAE Systems.

"Back To School Night" is Wednesday, August 21 (6:30 p.m. vs. Somerset), and courtesy of PSECU students can score their very own Revolution school supply pack.

On Saturday, August 31 (6:30 p.m. vs. Long Island) Revs fans will try to strike it rich with the PA Lottery coupon giveaway. A day later will mark a first for a Revolution giveaway...

On Sunday, September 1 (2 p.m. vs. Long Island), the first 1,500 fans in attendance will take home a Sovereign Bank Stadium Replica, the first one done of the jewel of Downtown York. This special giveaway is presented by Turkey Hill. The stadium replica will be the perfect centerpiece to fans' Revolution memorabilia collection; it includes the Arch Nemesis, which is now not only the tallest wall in professional baseball, but also the tallest wall in minor league stadium replica history.

The giveaway season wraps up on Friday, September 6 (2 p.m. vs. Bridgeport), when the first 1,500 ladies may claim a pink tote bag on Girl's Night Out, presented by Memorial Hospital.

Fans should also mark Saturday, April 13 on their calendars when the Revolution takes on a team of Atlantic League Alumni at 2 p.m. as a part of their 2013 Fan Fest. 1,000 "Full Throttle" yard signs presented by OSS will be handed out as fans exit the ballpark at game's end.

The 2013 regular season begins on Opening Night, April 18 at Sovereign Bank Stadium when the Revolution hosts the Bridgeport Bluefish at 6:30 p.m. Full-season, partial-season and individual tickets are on sale now at YorkRevolution.com, (717) 801-HITS, and in-person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office.
