Series Notes:

-The Allen/Denver series is the only one that has played three games so far and with that, Allen forward Todd Robinson leads all skaters with five points (1-4=5) and Brian McMillin leads all skaters with three post-season goals.

-Denver defenseman Sean Zimmerman has twice as many penalty minutes as any other player in the post-season with 29 PIM's. The Cutthroats and the Americans have combined for more than 51 penalty minutes per game so far in the post-season making them the two most penalized playoff clubs.

-Allen has scored the first goal in all three games so far. During the regular season, the Americans were 30-7-7 when scoring the game's first goal.

Series Notes:

-The Thunder allowed just 11 shots on goal in Saturday's 3-0 shutout win over the Sundogs marking the lowest shots allowed total in the last decade. The previous low was Wichita's 12 shots last year in the Conference Finals versus Texas (a 2-1 Thunder loss).

-Wichita's Matt Summers and Les Reaney have each scored goals in both games of the series so far.

-Arizona went 4-0-1 in their final five home games of the season and now host Game's 3 and 4 in the series.

Series Notes:

-The scene for Game's 3 and 4 shifts to Moline, Illinois where the Mallards have won eight straight games.

-Defenseman Darren McMillan leads the Mallards with three points (1-2=3) in the series. The veteran had six goals and 11 assists in 64 regular season games.

-Fort Worth is the least penalized team in the playoffs so far getting whistled for just five minor penalties (5.0 PIM's per game so far). They have allowed just three QDC power plays stopping them all.

Series Notes:

-Tim Boron leads all playoff goalies with a 0.50 goals against average and a .985 save percentage. Over the last two regular seasons, Boron is just 2-3-1 against the Mavericks.

-The Rush have not allowed a power play goal in the series as of yet stopping all 11 Missouri power plays. In the regular season, Rapid City was third in the CHL with an 85% penalty kill.

-Missouri forward Andrew Courtney has rattled off the second most shots in the post-season so far with a dozen shots on goal.

This Date in Playoff History (April 1, 2006)

The Oklahoma City Blazers defeated the Colorado Eagles in Game 1 of their best-of-7 conference quarterfinals series by a 4-3 score in overtime. Marty Standish scored two goals including the game winner at the 8:20 mark of the OT. Colorado won the series in Game 7 but lost to Bossier-Shreveport in the next round.
