Rivermen Sign Daniel Tetrault

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced today the club has signed defenseman Daniel Tetrault (TAY-troh) to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Tetrault, 33, has appeared in 68 games with ECHL Evansville and leads all IceMen defensemen in goals, assists and points. His 14 goals and 38 points both rank second in the entire ECHL.

The 6'0", 205-pound defenseman has 34 games of AHL experience with his last appearance coming in the 2002-03 season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Most of his career has been spent in the Central Hockey League with Austin, Wichita and New Mexico.

A veteran of 729 professional games, he was originally selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the fourth round (#91) of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.
