CARY, NC - The Carolina RailHawks have announced a partnership with Triangle Soccer Development and the Friday Night Soccer training program. Friday Night Soccer is an enjoyable program for adult soccer players who wish to continue their development and love of the game. The training will be held at WRAL Soccer Center for six Friday nights in March, April, and May from 8:15pm to 9:45pm and will be led by RailHawks forward and local product Brian Ackley. The cost of the training program is $65. All Friday Night Soccer participants will receive a complimentary RailHawks ticket as part of their registration. "Triangle Soccer Development is excited about this opportunity to partner with the RailHawks. We have no doubt that Forward Brian Ackley will provide both an educational and enjoyable experience for our Friday Night Soccer participants," said Bill Dreitzler, President, Triangle Soccer Development, LLC. "This partnership will not only enhance our program, but hopefully help expand the fan base of our very own professional soccer team, the Carolina RailHawks."

Friday Night Soccer curriculum will consist of both technical and tactical performance training. The technical training will focus on improving individual ball skills through emphasis on proper footwork, creativity with the ball, advanced passing and shooting. Tactical performance will be instructed through a series of small sided games and activities that focus on the principles of attack and defense, positional play and combination play all in a fun environment.

"Partnering with Triangle Soccer Development is an important piece in growing soccer in the Triangle and specifically growing adult recreational participation," said RailHawks President Curt Johnson. "Friday Night Soccer is important programming in teaching the game of soccer to adults who want to increase their knowledge of the game and we look forward to hosting them at a RailHawks match during the 2013 NASL Season at the New WakeMed Soccer Park. We also feel this is a fantastic way to grow our fan base."
