5-Time Grammy Nominee, Brandon Heath, to Hold Concert at Hadlock Field May 4th

Portland, Maine- Five-time Grammy nominee and two-time Gospel Music Association (GMA) Male Vocalist of the Year Brandon Heath will hold a pre-game concert at Hadlock Field on Saturday, May 4th as part of Faith and Family Day at the Ballpark, presented by The Lighthouse Events. The concert is scheduled to begin at 11:45 AM and the Sea Dogs will take on the New Britain Rock Cats at 1:00 PM.

Tickets to the event include both the concert and the baseball game. Tickets range in price from $8.00 to $10.00 for adults with children rates and group rates also available. Tickets can be purchased through the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or online at www.seadogs.com.

Heath, a Contemporary Christian Musician, has released four studio albums: Don't Get Comfortable (2006), What If We (2008), Leaving Eden (2011), and Blue Mountain (2012). He is best known for the number one hits "I'm Not Who I Was" and "Give Me Your Eyes". His second album, What if We, was nominated for "Gospel Album of the Year" at the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009. In 2012 at the 54th Grammy Awards he was nominated for three awards including "Best Gospel/ Contemporary Christian Music Performance" and Best Contemporary Christian Music Song" for "You're Love" and "Best Contemporary Christian Music Album" for Leaving Eden.

In addition to his Grammy nominations, Heath was nominated four times at the 2008 GMA Dove Awards and won in the "New Artist of the Year" category. In 2009, he again was nominated for four GMA Dove Awards; winning in three categories; "Male Vocalist of the Year", "Song of the Year", and "Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year". The ballpark will open at 11:30 AM for the concert. In addition to the pre-game concert, Heath will perform the National Anthem at the start of the game and sing God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch.

During the game, Heath will be available to meet with fans and sign autographs.

The Portland Sea Dogs are the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The Sea Dogs will open their 20th season on Thursday, April 4th at 6:00 PM. Book your nine inning vacation!
